Blue Thumb is an education program in the Water Quality Division of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission. The Oklahoma Blue Thumb program strives to provide stream protection through education. We work to accomplish this goal by empowering volunteer citizen scientists across the state in stream monitoring and teaching them how to educate others about Oklahoma’s water resources through our partnership with Project WET.

We host trainings and workshops throughout Oklahoma each year. To have a training or workshop near you, please contact us!
