Overseas Students Career Advisory Center (OSCAC) is a secondary organization under the Shanghai Overseas Economics & Technology Promotion Association (SOPA). OSCAC provides high quality consulting services for talent exchange between China and foreign countries to make sure that more overseas students and overseas Chinese participate in the construction of the country. OSCAC helps overseas students and overseas Chinese understand the information of domestic employment and entrepreneurship and leads them to support education.  

Shanghai Overseas Economics &Technology Promotion Association (SOPA) was established in Oct. 1988 with the support of the Shanghai government and aims to promote the cooperation with the foreign economics and technology. SOPA is a nonprofit professional social organization composed of relevant enterprises and institutions committed to promoting international and domestic economic, technological, and cultural cooperation and professionals engaged in international and domestic economy, trade, science and technology. SOPA is under the leadership of the Shanghai Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the supervision and administration of the Shanghai Municipal Administration of social organizations. The association is an AAAA social organization assessed by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of social organizations.
